About Us
Dr. McGillis at State of Mind Psychological Services is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and received her Doctorate in Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2003. Dr. McGillis offers individual therapy services both in-person in her Lakeview office or virtually through a HIPAA compliant online video platform. Dr. McGillis is also “PsyPact” certified, allowing her to practice Telehealth outside of Illinois and throughout most of the 50 United States. Diagnostically, she has worked extensively with individuals suffering from depression, mood disorders, anxiety, and PTSD. Her speciality areas include narcissistic abuse recovery, relationship issues, understanding unhealthy family/childhood patterns and roles and changing how these are repeated in one’s adult relationships.
