Special Edition: Basset, Food Handlers, and ServSafe Managers Certification Class
Join us in Lakeview East on March 30 for a full-day Food Safety & Sanitation training hosted by the Safe Dining Association. This session offers multiple certification options, including Food Handler, ServSafe Manager, and BASSET (alcohol service), making it easy to get everything you need in one place.
The Food Safety Manager Certification credential demonstrates that you have the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to oversee the safe storage, preparation, and service of food in a professional setting. The Manager Certification course consists of one eight-hour day of instruction, with the exam administered at the end of the session.
This class and exam are fully accredited by the Illinois Department of Public Health, Chicago Department of Public Health, Prometric Testing Organization, and ServSafe from the National Restaurant Association (administered by request). Upon successful completion, participants will be certified in the State of Illinois and eligible to apply for City of Chicago certification. All certifications are valid for five years.
