About Us

When husband & wife team Falguni and Ali Dewjee opened Bombay Wraps in 2010, they had one simple mission – to share with you the delicious, simple and fun street food they grew up eating in Bombay (Mumbai), India. Today this mission continues to burn bright, as they recently opened their 3rd location in Lakeview (3149 N Broadway St). Food is a pivotal component of the Indian culture and there is no better way to express oneself and share the culture than through food.
Bombay Wraps has taken the best of Indian cooking – complex flavors, abundant variety and delicious slow cooked recipes and is delivering it to you in a familiar form – wraps, sandwich rolls and bowls that you can enjoy at the restaurant, work or your home. Half the menu is vegetarian as a nod to the plethora of vegetarian options available in India. In addition, Bombay Wraps also offer great tasting vegan, gluten free and halal options.
Protein and veggies are seasoned with Indian spices and served in a WRAP: flaky paratha flatbread or wheat roti, ROLL: think lobster roll like bun or BOWL: basmati rice or fresh cut salad. Condiments (tomatoes & cucumbers, shredded lettuce & pickpled onions) and sauces (cilantro mint, tikka masala, yogurt raita) are added to taste.
